KAVERI GAS POWER LTD
Promoters of Elango Industries, EGPK
Steel, and their family members have
promoted KGPL
KGPL is currently operating a 7 MW Gas
based Captive Power Plant in Tamilnadu
with the Gas Engine supplied by
Rolls-Royce, Norway. Additional 3 MW
is being added to the existing
capacity. SBI and its Subsidaries have
funded the project.
The generated power is wheeled through
TNEB Grid to the Captive consumers,
namely Madura Coats P. Ltd, Ramalinga
Mills, Jai Bharath Mills, Agni Steels
Pvt. Limited, and Sree Kaderi Ambal
Mills Ltd etc., who hold 31 % of the
